Supervisor
Position: Stewarding Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all stewarding, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning operations.
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to hygiene standards.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of kitchen, washing areas, storage rooms, and waste disposal areas.
- Assign daily tasks and oversee the performance of stewarding staff.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety requirements.
- Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to support daily operational needs.
- Train new staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safe work practices.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report replenishment requirements.
- Perform hands-on cleaning and dishwashing duties when required.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant experience in stewarding, kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, or hospitality operations.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety standards.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
Working Requirements:
- Must be willing to work on Sundays and Public Holidays as required by operational needs.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
