SUPERVISOR
Patient Care & Reception
- Register and schedule patient appointments.
- Welcome patients and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and update medical information.
Clinical Assistance
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment before consultations.
- Assist TCM physicians during treatments when required.
- Prepare herbs, herbal prescriptions, and medicinal materials according to instructions.
- Support procedures such as acupuncture setup, cupping preparation, moxibustion preparation, and other TCM treatments (within training and clinic protocols).
- Monitor and assist patients before and after treatments.
Administrative Duties
- Manage clinic documentation and filing systems.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle billing.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Prepare reports and manage inventory records.
Inventory & Supplies Management
- Monitor stock levels of herbs, medicines, and clinic supplies.
- Order and restock inventory as needed.
- Ensure proper storage of herbal products and medical supplies.
Hygiene & Safety
- Clean and disinfect treatment rooms and equipment.
- Follow infection control and workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations.
Skills Often Required

- Basic knowledge of TCM practices and terminology.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Mandarin or Chinese dialects may be preferred in some clinics.
