Supervisor Field Service

Responsibilities

  • Customer service excellence: Ensure delivery of high-quality service levels across Power and Thermal systems.
  • Technical oversight: Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance for complex service issues.
  • Cost evaluation: Prepare and review accurate cost assessments for repair quotations.
  • Team leadership: Train, supervise, and motivate senior technicians and technicians to optimize performance.
  • Operational planning: Develop weekly schedules and ensure seamless execution of service activities.
  • Continuous improvement: Stay updated on Vertiv products, industry best practices, and apply knowledge to enhance service delivery.
  • Risk management: Ensure compliance with hazard identification and risk assessment standards.

Qualifications

  • University Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge in Thermal systems (precision cooling) and Power systems.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in the service industry.
  • Proven expertise in Vertiv products and functionality.
  • Excellent technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in service management tools.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory).
  • Knowledge in hazard identification and risk assessment.

Physical & Environmental Demands

  • Willingness to travel (up to 80%).
  • Ability to work in diverse environments including data centers and industrial facilities.
