Supervisory Clinical Psychologist
About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center's Mental Health Services in El Paso, Texas. A recruitment incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
Provide providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
Provide guidance to hospital leadership regarding policy on Psychology issues.
Provide professional and clinical consultation to military and community leaders and multidisciplinary professionals.
Treat severe and complex variations of adult psychological dysfunction by making diagnostic clinical formulations based on the DSM.
Supervises performance of federal civilian employees assigned to the clinic to include establishing work priorities, making assignments, monitoring work performed and providing guidance on technical and administrative matters.
