Supervisory Interdisciplinary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Chief, Master Planning Branch, with overall responsibility for all matters pertaining to master planning and major construction programming.

Serve as the Aberdeen Proving Ground and Adelphi Laboratory Center Master Planning Branch Chief, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, in support of the Master Planning Division, Directorate of Public Works.

Provide oversight at an Installation Management Command Garrison.

Apply techniques in fields such as engineering, landscape architecture, architecture, or community planning to resolve problems.

Advise leadership and on areas such as planning, programming, execution and budget of construction projects using Geographic information systems (GIS).

Lead multi-disciplined teams involved with areas such as asset and land-use development.

Provide guidance for establishing design criteria to resolve complex design requirements.

Provide decision makers guidance based on economic analysis.

Review items such as designs and construction activities related to architectural, environment, landscape, and civil engineering.
