Supplier Quality Engineer, Bare PCB

Apple is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for Bare Printed Circuit Board (PCB) in Hanoi, Vietnam. This position will be responsible for leading activity from the PCB fabrication side, making the fabrication process and method capable and stable to supply products of quality in PCB manufacturing. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant fields Direct and hands-on experience in bare PCBs fabrication, including familiarity with equipment, chemistry, materials, and quality analysis methodologies known in the industry Familiar with FA, MSA, SPC, and statistical data analysis, such as rule and action at X bar-R(S), GR&R, manufacturing capability (Cp, CpK), and DOE Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment and operate independently under pressure Willingness to travel frequently to contract manufacturer sites in both Vietnam (50%) and China (50%) Preferred Qualifications The ability to evaluate options and make critical decisions under uncertainty and a deadline, with excellent creative thought processing Knowledge of sophisticated technologies such as MSAP, SAP, core-less, and rigid-flex products. Familiar with data analysis tools like JMP or Minitab; Process engineering experience Experience in coding like Python, Tableau, smart manufacturing, digital transformation, or Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, is an advantage Mandarin language skills are a plus
