You’ll be a core creator, contributor, and inventor. You’ll create new system UI and features from our healthy roadmap, make steady improvements to our existing foundations, and build out new ideas and innovations. You’ll leverage existing foundations, fill in the gaps with innovation and creativity, and build beautiful user interfaces that are backed by powerful frameworks and daemons.

Your responsibilities include working closely with multi-functional teams, acting as the technical point of contact, take ownership of problems and deliverables, lead engineering efforts, and organize engineering tasks to deliver the next generation of Find My features. Creative thinking, strong problem solving, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other multi-functional teams in a dynamic setting are meaningful attributes which will serve you well in this role.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of validated hands-on software engineering experience, with a proven track record of owning complex, end-to-end feature development — from requirements gathering and system design through release decisions and bug convergence — in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Ability to take ownership, identify requirements, prioritize and make progress in an environment with limited given input
Strong Swift expertise - including but not limited to: Multithreading, non-blocking IO
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Ability to be in office Monday through Thursday
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of common data structures and basic graph algorithms
Hands on experience writing strong object-oriented code including creating frameworks, modular and testable software
Experience in C, C++
Working knowledge of cryptography standards and protocols (e.g.. PKCS, KMIP, X.509, AES, KDF, CA)
Experience in the AI/ML domain
Very strong in leading others and hands-on in programming, system design, and problem solving
Experience driving release decisions, scoping work, and driving bug convergence
Experience in cross team collaboration and communication across multiple timezones
Able to work in an ambiguous and highly interdependent work environment to get things done in an efficient and tactful way
Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team on high-profile, critical projects
BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
