Team Leader - MEP
The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of individuals with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering services designs, predominantly for Railway Stations and other Railway Buildings, working as part of a team. Taking a Lead role in project design work, focused on production and liaison with the WSP India Australian (AU) Team and mentoring and coaching junior members of the team.
- The applicant will have proven experience in the MEP design of Railway Station Building Services with significant experience in a similar role or demonstration of a good track record.
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project is essential.
- Must be fluent in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology.

- Raise the level of technical competence within the teams.
- Implement delivery and quality measurement processes.
- Promote technical excellence in all our projects.
- Undertake technical reviews, peer reviews, checks and contribute to the design.
- Develop positive professional relationship with the WSP AU Team, communicating openly about project progress.
- Supervise, coordinate and support other project Engineers and CAD Technicians.
- Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met within the design.
- Participate in Project meetings, team meetings, disseminate information within the team, and communicate with other teams in WSP.
- Identify and act on, or refer, potential risk issues and follow in full the company commercial and contracting processes.
- Manage delegated tasks to ensure that deadlines are met and flag resourcing concerns to team leader.
- Leading and guiding the team, winning work, proactive approach to find the solutions to the problems.
- Taking care of H&S of self and team members.
Proven experience in leading design efforts and managing projects in a client-facing role.
Flexibility / Adaptability
Presentation and business communication skill.
Organise Knowledge share and lesson’s learnt sessions from projects/tasks.
Lead Internal and External Audit preparations.

- Applicants need to be able to demonstrate good management and technical skills and be capable of working both within the team and independently, as dictated by workload.
- Having Professional membership and professional qualification (CEng) from the International professional institutions.
- Promote WSP in India Vision and Values
- Should have a degree in Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
