Temporary Staff (Enterprise Knowledge Department)
- Collection Maintenance: Maintain the physical library by ensuring shelves and publications remain neat, orderly, and accessible.
- Technical Processing: Prepare new and existing materials for circulation through stamping, labelling, RFID tagging and re-jacketing.
- Records Management: Update database records for new acquisitions, and loan statuses, and internal staff movements.
- Circulation Services: Facilitate the borrowing process by managing loan requests, returns, and the generation of overdue notices.
- Information Alerts & Newsletters: Assist in uploading of Information Alerts and dissemination of newsletters to internal and external stakeholders.
- Digital Archiving: Coordinate with departments to acquire photographic assets; Curate and metadata-tag assets for the Library’s digital archive to ensure searchability.
- Operational Support: Support ad-hoc projects including annual stock-taking and logistics for library events.
Job Requirements:
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in library operations or administrative support.
- Familiarity with MAS’ core subjects and areas of interest such as Central banking, Monetary policy, Economics, Banking and Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration (i.e., Microsoft 365) will be an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, paired with effective interpersonal abilities.
- Meticulous and highly organized approach to task management.
- A proactive team player with a collaborative mindset.
