Tour Guide
The Tour Guide position is all about:
- Understand the detail of permits to operate tours and ensure departments compliance with the conditions of permits through operational activities
- Present information and interpretation on all tours to the required standard
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of vehicles/vessels prior to conducting tours and prior to the completion of shift
- Ensure personal presentation and grooming is to the required standard (refer to company grooming policy)
- Proactively participate in Tour department briefings
- Actively support indigenous engagement and employment within the department
- Deliver tourism experiences that increase visitor numbers and extend visitor stay
- Upsell other services and facilities of the property/park to visitors and guests at all opportunities
- Demonstrate awareness of WH&S standards and procedures
- Participate in scheduled operation procedure and training
What are we seeking?
- Open driver’s license (must have at the commencement of employment)
- Senior First Aid Certificate (must have at the commencement of employment)
- Nature or site seeing marine permit (exemption 13)
- H Endorsement passenger vehicle license (must have at the commencement of employment or process to obtain started)
