Thousands of Myanmar migrant domestic workers come to Singapore seeking better opportunities for themselves and their families. Many of them wish to improve their skills, confidence, and future career opportunities.

We are inviting volunteer or freelance trainers who are passionate about teaching and empowering others to conduct short practical classes for Myanmar domestic workers.

This initiative is about giving back to the community and empowering women through knowledge and skills.

Even a few hours a month can make a meaningful difference.

Available Volunteer Trainer Roles

1. Language Proficiency Trainer

(English / Mandarin / Japanese – Basic Speaking)

Help migrant workers improve their basic conversational skills so they can communicate better with employers and the community.

Responsibilities

• Teach simple everyday conversations
• Conduct small group speaking practice
• Help learners build confidence in communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent in English / Mandarin / Japanese
• Ability to communicate in Myanmar language preferred
• Teaching experience is a plus

2. Basic Computer & AI Skills Trainer

Teach basic computer use, smartphone productivity, and simple AI tools.

3. Nursing Home Caregiver Training

Teach eldercare basics such as hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic caregiving skills.

4. Fashion Design & Sewing Trainer

Teach simple sewing skills, clothing repair, and basic fashion design.

5. Basic Bakery & Baking Skills Trainer

Teach simple baking such as cakes, cookies, and pastries.

6. Basic Beauty & Makeup Trainer

7. Basic Nail Art Trainer

8. Eyelash Extension Trainer

9. Basic Cooking Class Trainer

10. Floral Arrangement Trainer

11. Zumba Trainer

12. Online Shop / Small Business Trainer

Teach workers how to start a small online shop or side business.

Ideal Candidates

• Passionate about teaching and mentoring
