VP, Quantitative Developer

You will design, implement, and optimize market-making and quantitative trading strategies for crypto markets. You will collaborate with traders, quants, and developers to translate strategies into efficient code, integrate and validate data sources, and monitor and troubleshoot live trading systems. You will optimize systems for speed, reliability, and scalability, contribute to process and tool improvements, and leverage AI tools to increase productivity and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain high-performance trading algorithms and models for crypto markets
• Collaborate with traders and quantitative analysts to translate trading strategies into efficient code
• Optimize trading systems for speed, reliability, and scalability
• Integrate new data sources and ensure data integrity for model inputs
• Monitor and troubleshoot live trading systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in quantitative finance, software development, and crypto markets
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality

Requirements

• Experience working in algorithmic trading environments in Java
• Strong programming skills in Java
• Knowledge of tick data analytics
• Real-time market data processing
• Familiarity with cloud-based market access or hybrid deployments
• Proven experience developing and implementing quantitative models and trading algorithms
• Experience with high-frequency and low-latency trading systems
• Experience working on an FX or cryptocurrency trading desk
• Experience integrating and executing strategies on DeFi platforms (Solana, Ethereum)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
