VP Strategic Finance

You will lead the company’s strategic finance function, owning long-range planning, the annual operating plan, and rolling forecasts. You will run FP&A including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and performance management. You will prepare Board and investor materials, support diligence and financing transactions, model capital and liquidity scenarios, evaluate acquisitions, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations for executive decisions. You will build and mentor a high-performing team and design AI-first processes, tools, and controls to improve financial insight and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own long-range financial plan, annual operating plan, and rolling forecasts
• Lead financial strategy, resource allocation, and investment prioritization
• Drive financial governance and planning cadence
• Lead FP&A including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and performance management
• Build and maintain financial models for revenue, margins, headcount, cash flow, and capital needs
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting for executives and the Board
• Partner with the CFO on investor relations and prepare Board and investor materials
• Support diligence processes and external financial communications
• Analyze capital structure, liquidity planning, and long-term funding strategy
• Partner with Corp Dev to evaluate and support acquisitions and financing transactions
• Perform scenario modeling and risk analysis to support capital decisions
• Evaluate ROI for major initiatives and provide executive decision support
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team and design AI-first processes and controls

Requirements

• Deep crypto industry knowledge and experience
• 12+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields
• Experience supporting external stakeholders, Board reporting, and capital-related processes
• Expert-level financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive decisions through data
• Prior IPO and M&A transactional experience a plus
