Job Summary

Perform welding tasks by reading engineering drawings, setting up components, and welding using manual or semi-automatic equipment, maintenance of machinery & equipment, while supporting other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements to plan welding layouts accurately
  • Set up welding components according to specified engineering requirements
  • Perform welding using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions to meet quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow
  • Demonstrate proactive learning to improve welding techniques and job performance
  • Complete additional ad-hoc duties as assigned to support operations
  • Work overtime as required to meet production schedules

Required competencies and certifications

  • Welding and cutting experience, especially with FCAW / Semi-Auto at least 1G
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Possess at least a NITEC in Mechanical Engineering

Other Information

  • Working Hours: 6 days a week (9am to 8pm) with 1 day off
  • OT pay
