WPI Claims Specialist

The purpose of this role is to provide early, timely and personal service to workers, employers, and other stakeholders whilst providing an empathetic customer experience through a deep technical specialisation in complex claims.

This will be a full-time, permanent position based in the Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once fully trained.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completing a thorough claim review

  • Request and obtain appropriate medical evidence in line with the Impairment Assessment Guidelines

  • Constructing a WPI book of documents, which include all relevant and necessary medical evidence

  • Drafting a WPI assessment request

  • Regularly communicating with either the injured worker and/or legal representative

  • Determining injured workers' entitlements

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience with a strong focus on customer satisfaction

  • Great attention to detail and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology) is advantageous but not mandatory.
