WSH Coordinator (WSHC)
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the WSH Officer and project team in implementing Workplace Safety and Health requirements on site.
- Conduct daily site inspections and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and non-compliances.
- Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with site safety rules, permit requirements, and safe work procedures.
- Assist in conducting toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site inductions.
- Maintain and update WSH records, inspection reports, training records, and safety documentation.
- Follow up on corrective actions arising from inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Assist in the implementation of Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel on site.
- Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives on day-to-day safety matters.
- Support the WSH Officer during safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with airport-specific safety, security, and operational requirements where applicable.
- Perform any other WSH-related duties assigned by the WSH Officer or Project Manager.
Job Requirements
- 5.5 day work week
- WSHC Level B / WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
- Familiar with airside safety requirements, vehicle movement controls, and work permit processes within airport operational areas.
