AI part time lecturer
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly classes (approximately 6–9 teaching hours per week) for AI-related programmes.
- Deliver lessons in areas such as:AI FundamentalsGenerative AIPython ProgrammingApplied AI Tools & WorkflowsPrompt Engineering and AI Applications
- Prepare teaching materials, lesson slides, exercises, assessments, and learning activities.
- Guide students through practical projects, assignments, and hands-on exercises.
- Facilitate student engagement and provide academic support during lessons.
- Stay updated with current AI trends, tools, and industry developments to ensure course relevance.
- Collaborate with the academic team on curriculum delivery and programme enhancements.
- Assess student progress through assignments, presentations, quizzes, or evaluations where required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Prior industry work experience in AI, software development, data science, machine learning, or related technology domains is required.
- Teaching, lecturing, corporate training, or mentoring experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming and practical AI applications.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, and emerging AI technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to learners of varying backgrounds.
