Airfreight Operations Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Booking and Scheduling: Securing space with airlines or co-loaders and coordinating cargo pickup/delivery.
  • Documentation: Preparing and verifying Air Waybills (AWB), invoices, packing lists, and customs clearance documents.
  • Customer Service: Providing shipment updates, tracking, and resolving exceptions like delays or damages.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to IATA, Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations, and local security requirements.
  • Coordination: Working with truckers, ground handlers, and agents for smooth cargo handling.
  • Billing: Registering, checking, and processing supplier invoices and client billing.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years in air freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Air Freight export/import processes and Incoterms.
  • Skills: High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with cargo management systems.
