Assistant Manager

  • Knowledge of Financial Reporting and audited financial statements
  • Understanding of US Insurance market
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • ERP’s such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, ANAPLAN etc.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent Communication / interpersonal skills
  • Data gathering ability/ Eye for detail
  • Team work/ Managing Self / Adaptability
  • Ability to work on routine/standardized processes
  • Review of data / input gathered from various sources and suppliers to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare / review monthly, quarterly & annual journal entries
  • Prepare/ review Income Statement/ Balance Sheet reconciliations and perform tie outs and variance/ aging analysis
  • Assist in oversight and review before final sign off
  • Assist with data request, collaboration during internal/external audits
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, monthly and periodic processing as per business requirement Act as a point of escalation for any operational issue for assigned BUs
  • Qualified/Semi-qualified accountant/Masters in Finance with 4+ years of experience in Accounting and Reporting)
