Assistant Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities across targeted Corporate sectors.
  • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Consistently strive to exceed sales targets by analysing sales metrics and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts, and report on progress regularly.
  • Assist in the development and execution of business development plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters, acting as the liaison between the customer and internal departments to ensure their needs are effectively met.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to gain actionable insights into target markets and customer behaviours, identifying new business opportunities and assessing competitive threats.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A passion for cold calling, canvassing, and a relentless drive to achieve more.
  • A results-driven mindset with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn–candidates with little or no experience are welcome if they demonstrate these qualities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Commitment to a 5-day work week in professional business attire
