Job Description

Job Summary**

As a Client Advisor at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of individual and corporate clients, providing expert financial advice and solutions tailored to their needs, and contributing to the bank's growth and profitability.

Job Responsibilities**

* Manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth individual and/or corporate clients.
* Proactively identify client financial needs and provide suitable banking products and services, including investments, loans, deposits, and wealth management solutions.
* Conduct thorough financial assessments and risk profiling to develop personalized financial plans for clients.
* Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice.
* Achieve sales targets and contribute to the bank's overall business objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and product specialists to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
* Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
* Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in client relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with a focus on wealth management or corporate banking.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
* In-depth knowledge of financial products, investment instruments, and banking services.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CUTE, TBE) are highly advantageous.
* Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak other local dialects is a plus.
