As a Business Analyst - Associate, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness within our Technology Consulting practice. You will analyze client needs, develop operational strategies, and provide guidance to help clients streamline processes, improve productivity, and drive business performance. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements and projects, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

Core Responsibilities at This Level Include:
• Analyzing operational datasets using SQL / MySQL Workbench to extract and interpret data.
• Developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Creating and modifying Power BI data models, Power Query transformations, and DAX calculations.
• Translating analytical insights into actionable business recommendations and operational
improvements.
• Supporting development of reporting solutions that monitor operational performance and financial
metrics.
• Collaborating with analytics and engineering teams to ensure reporting solutions align with business
requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to automate reporting workflows using Power BI and Power Platform tools.
• Communicating analytical insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
• Ensuring compliance with data governance standards and healthcare data privacy regulations including
HIPAA.
• Adhering to PwC’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct while handling sensitive client data.

Minimum Degree Required (BQ) *: Bachelor’s Degree

Required Field(s) of Study (BQ): Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Engineering


Preferred Field(s) of Study: Cloud Computing, Software Engineering


Minimum Year(s) of Experience (BQ) *:2-4 years of experience


Certification(s) Preferred: Microsoft Power BI Certification
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner


Required Knowledge/Skills (BQ):
• Hands-on experience with Power BI including Power Query, DAX, and dashboard development.
• Strong understanding of Power BI data modeling, including star schema design and relationship
management.
• Experience optimizing reports using query folding, DAX performance tuning, and efficient dataset
design.
• Experience publishing and managing dashboards in Power BI Service including workspace management,
scheduled refresh, and row-level security (RLS).
• Strong experience writing SQL queries using SQL / MySQL Workbench or similar database tools.
• Ability to write joins, aggregations, subqueries, and analytical queries to analyze operational datasets.
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience working with Power BI components including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
• Ability to transform raw datasets using Power Query for data cleansing and preparation.
• Experience creating DAX measures and calculated columns for analytics reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and analytical modeling.
• Ability to interpret analytical results and translate them into business insights and recommendations.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills *:
• Experience working with healthcare datasets or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations.
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools such as PowerApps and Power Automate.
• Exposure to AWS cloud platforms or cloud-based analytics environments.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and operational performance analysis.
• Experience collaborating with analytics and data engineering teams to deliver reporting solutions.
