What You Can Expect:
What you'll be doing
- Drive revenue and gross profit growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts in line with Rhenus Air & Ocean growth strategy and country sales budget.
- Actively pursue new business through face-to-face sales meetings, relationship building, solution presentations, and deal closure.
- Achieve a high win rate on new business while maintaining strong gross profit margins that meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Maintain continuous customer engagement to strengthen relationships and ensure long-term account success.
- Engage multiple levels of customer decision-makers to understand business challenges and logistics requirements.
- Design and propose customized logistics solutions aligned with customers’ operational and strategic goals.
- Build credibility and trust by demonstrating strong market knowledge, customer insight, and industry awareness.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Sales Channels, and Station Management to support customer retention and growth.
- Coordinate with Country and Product Management on pricing strategies for assigned accounts and tenders.
- Manage sales opportunities and commercial risks to protect the interests of Rhenus Air & Ocean.
- Act as lead negotiator and “closer” during client presentations and commercial discussions.
- Research, plan, and execute initiatives for prospective accounts and new target markets.
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations, proposals, and tenders for prospective and existing clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual and territory performance targets.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations.
- Ensure all sales activities (meetings, contact reports, leads, and opportunities) are accurately recorded in the CRM system (SUGAR) in accordance with SOP.
- Qualify business opportunities to ensure alignment with commercial objectives, financial targets, and customer needs.
- Provide timely market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to the Sales Head.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports accurately and on time.
- Ensure correctness and completeness of SOPs, including rates, handling instructions, and accounting/billing details, prior to dissemination and Job Instruction issuance.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.
- Established customer base with a strong industry network.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tagalog.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid non-professional driver’s license and own vehicle.
