Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Review Developers’ bid specifications, requirements, and tender documents.
- Assist in the preparation of fee quotations, cost estimates, and manhour breakdown table.
- Manage and respond to tenders, RFQs, and RFPs, providing both commercial and technical input.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Clients and Developers.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet tender bid requirements and project timelines.
- Identify potential business opportunities and support the company’s growth initiatives.
- Attend tender interviews and site show-rounds as the primary technical representative.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in M&E consultancy in construction industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team.
- Existing network with Developers, Architects, suppliers, or contractors is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of local construction regulations, Gebiz, and tendering procedures in Singapore.
