CAD Drafter
Summary

• Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software and under direct supervision of other technicians of professional staff
• Proficiency in use of computer-aided design software and ability to work well with others required.
• Plant design, piping systems work - modeling piping systems.
• Candidate should be able to display attention to detail and good organization skills.
• Technician will work closely under the direction of professional engineers and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
• 1 -3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
• mechanical drafting skills

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience with Inventor for Substation 3D preferred.
• Experience with MicroStation, Autocad and working with utility type drawings a plus
• Navisworks and Revit HUGE plus
• 3D modeling HUGE plus
