Sitting within the Compliance function, this role holds primary responsibility for maintaining the Greek i-gaming licence and ensuring ongoing regulatory adherence. The position plays a key part in translating complex regulatory requirements into clear operational guidance, whilst supporting responsible gaming obligations and broader governance across the business.

What the role involves

  • Oversee all compliance activities related to the Greek i-gaming licence, ensuring the organisation meets all legislative, regulatory, and licensing obligations with effective risk mitigation and control measures in place.
  • Monitor, assess, and interpret regulatory developments within the Greek regulatory ecosystem, identifying areas requiring updates or remediation.
  • Translate Greek regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for internal stakeholders, providing day-to-day compliance advice and operational support to business units.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current policies and processes; recommend, draft, and implement improvements in line with regulatory expectations, ensuring consistent adherence to internal governance frameworks.
  • Support all regulatory interactions — including inspections, audits, and reporting obligations — with emphasis on communications with the Hellenic Gaming Commission.
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve Responsible Gaming controls, tools, and processes in line with Greek regulatory obligations, including day-to-day operational support such as the review, escalation, and follow-up of player protection cases and RG-related interventions.
  • Provide independent compliance support during due-diligence reviews for partners, suppliers, and potential acquisitions.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date compliance documentation, records, and reporting.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a compliance role, ideally within the i-gaming sector.
  • Strong understanding of legislative and compliance frameworks, obligations, and regulatory dynamics in Greece.
  • Proven experience with Greek i-gaming licensing processes and ongoing compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including leading cross-functional compliance initiatives.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Greek and English.
  • Strong knowledge of gambling regulations and responsible gaming frameworks, with a solid understanding of AML/CTF and data protection requirements.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and efficient time management.
