Customer Service Executive (Supply Chain) / Jurong / Contract

Summary
Responsible for managing customer orders and coordinating supply chain activities, including inventory, procurement, and production planning, to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage large number of incoming calls.
  • Manage customer accounts and order portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders and amendments in accordance with established procedures and data integrity standards
  • Primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, handling inquiries related to order status, shipping arrangements, and delivery commitments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with customers, service providers, and internal stakeholders across regions to ensure effective coordination
  • Purchase materials, plan stock inventory
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
  • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Streamline and automate processes wherever possible
  • Prepare accurate daily reports, order management reports and KPI dashboards
  • Maintain accurate, audit compliant documentation in line with company policies and standards.
  • To actively take initiatives and participate in continuous improvements in your work area
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service, supply chain, and logistics
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders across regions and functions.
  • Customer focused and solutions oriented, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well organised, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel, IT savvy, familiar with SAP. (Knowing IBM AS400 i.e. legacy system will be a plus)
