Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Mammography)

About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA in the Directorate of Surgery, Breast Care Department. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Advance Leave Accrual MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Independently perform a complex and diverse array of screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.

Scheduling, interviewing and imaging patients.

Assists the Radiologist(s) and other Health Care Providers needle localization, breast ultrasound studies and other related breast health examinations.

Collecting, filing and maintaining documentation related to the performance of mammograms and resulting studies.

Provide performance improvement recommendations and actively participate in continuous process improvement specifically regarding mammography, as well as for the entire Radiology Department.
