Director of Business Development

  • Drive overall sales performance across group, transient, wholesale, and catering/banquet segments, with clear accountability for revenue growth, market share, and segment mix optimization.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with the hotel’s commercial objectives, including annual targets, budgets, forecasts, and performance tracking.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, focusing on key source markets and high-value segments.
  • Strengthen account management and sales effectiveness, ensuring a healthy pipeline, proactive client engagement, and conversion of qualified leads.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align sales initiatives with campaigns and demand generation, while maintaining clear ownership of revenue delivery.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and demand patterns, adapting sales strategies to maximize performance.
  • Collaborate with Accor regional and corporate teams to ensure alignment with brand strategy, leverage commercial tools, and support overall business performance.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, or at least 2 years in a similar leadership role, with a proven track record in driving revenue performance.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of market dynamics, distribution channels, and business drivers.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Based in Phuket or Bangkok, with flexibility to travel as required.
