Engineering Equipment Operator

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoW Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position serves as Engineering Equipment Operator for DPTMS at Range Control.

Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment and vehicles used at the range.

Preheats metals prior to cutting or welding to prevent uneven breakage.

Assist fellow coworkers with troubleshooting and repairing equipment used on the firing range.

Operate a variety of motorized vehicles such as a forklift or tractor.

Ability to tow vehicles that have become inoperable at duty location.

Utilize laws and regulations to operate a variety of motorized vehicles.
