As an Experienced Associate - Deals Advisory - Deals Strategy, you will engage with clients to provide strategic insights and solutions within our Deals practice. You will be at the forefront of helping clients navigate complex transactions, offering guidance on deal strategy and execution. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will build meaningful client connections, learn how to manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will support senior staff and participate in project tasks, developing basic skills and knowledge. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, embracing ambiguity and using these challenges as opportunities for growth. You will engage in research and use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, while upholding professional and technical standards.

Responsibilities

- Supporting client engagements by contributing to deal strategy and advisory projects
- Conducting comprehensive market research and industry trend analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Assisting in the evaluation of business plans and financial statements to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Developing financial models and conducting scenario analysis to support acquisition strategies
- Collaborating with teams to perform competitive analysis and assess corporate development initiatives
- Engaging in customer due diligence and financial risk analysis to enhance deal structures
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to provide insights for value creation and post-merger integration
- Utilizing tools like Capital IQ for data gathering and analysis to support strategic planning efforts
- Participating in the preparation of reports and presentations for client meetings and internal reviews
- Building relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and feedback loops

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for a Master's of Business Administration degree
- Demonstrating proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Excelling in acquisition strategy and M&A strategy
- Utilizing Capital IQ for competitive analysis and market research
