Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts and oversee the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Handle budgeting, cash flow forecasting, treasury, and banking matters.
- Prepare and review group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and related-party transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, corporate tax, GST (where applicable), CPF, and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to support business decisions.
- Establish and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and finance procedures.
- Supervise and support finance team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and treasury management.
- Experience in group accounting, consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple entities.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the shipping, ship management, ship broker, chartering, maritime, or related industry.
- Familiar with shipping-related transactions, including charter hire, brokerage commissions, management fees, and vessel operating expenses.
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency, and group reporting environments will be highly preferred.
