Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts and oversee the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Handle budgeting, cash flow forecasting, treasury, and banking matters.
• Prepare and review group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and related-party transactions.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, corporate tax, GST (where applicable), CPF, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to support business decisions.
• Establish and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and finance procedures.
• Supervise and support finance team members.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and treasury management.
• Experience in group accounting, consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple entities.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the shipping, ship management, ship broker, chartering, maritime, or related industry.
• Familiar with shipping-related transactions, including charter hire, brokerage commissions, management fees, and vessel operating expenses.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency, and group reporting environments will be highly preferred.
