Job Summary

Provide front-desk support at a dental clinic by greeting visitors, managing appointments, handling patient communications, and supporting office administration to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors promptly and courteously to create a welcoming clinic environment
  • Learn and apply dental clinic procedures and notations accurately to support clinical operations
  • Use telephone etiquette to handle patient and visitor calls professionally and resolve queries and complaints via phone, email, and correspondence
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently to optimize clinic workflow
  • Participate actively in all scheduled clinic meetings and huddles to stay informed and contribute to team goals
  • Send appointment reminders and respond to patients’ SMS or message replies promptly to reduce no-shows
  • Manage office supplies including dental products, stationery, equipment, and furniture to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned to support daily clinic functions
  • Coordinate office services such as cleaning and maintenance by liaising with service providers
  • Receive and dispatch deliveries accurately to ensure timely receipt and distribution of items
  • Assist with mail handling to ensure proper distribution within the clinic
  • Take messages and ensure timely communication to the appropriate staff members
  • Submit dental claims through CHAS, Medisave, and Dental Insurance portals accurately and on time
