Job Summary
Lead and manage sales and corporate functions in Singapore for a Japanese logistics company. Develop strategies, oversee P&L, drive operational improvements, and coordinate with regional offices to ensure business growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales and corporate functions in Singapore to achieve operational excellence and drive measurable business growth
- Develop and execute customized business and sales strategies for logistics services to increase revenue and expand market share
- Oversee full P&L responsibilities including budgeting, financial planning, and performance monitoring to meet profitability targets
- Lead and coordinate multiple departments to foster collaboration and enhance team performance
- Align strategies and report business progress accurately by coordinating with Japan Headquarters and overseas offices
- Drive operational improvements by implementing digitalization and IT initiatives to increase efficiency and competitiveness
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and local regulations to mitigate operational risks
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrated experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry within a Japanese company environment
- Proven management experience covering both sales and corporate functions to deliver measurable business results
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and execution skills to guide teams and implement strategies effectively
- Experience working in Singapore or other overseas markets to navigate diverse business environments
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese language to facilitate communication with Japanese stakeholders
- Knowledge of IT systems, digital transformation (DX) initiatives, or business process improvement to support innovation
- Regional management experience in Southeast Asia to oversee cross-border operations and market dynamics

Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: SGD 6,000 – 10,000 (commensurate with experience and capabilities), negotiable
- Bonus: Based on company and individual performance
