As a Guidewire Senior Developer Digital Portal - Associate, you will specialize in developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform, a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.
As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, embrace ambiguity, ask questions, and use these challenges as opportunities for growth.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will design, code, and test software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organizations. You will be part of a dynamic team, adapting to various client challenges and contributing to the success of the team through your reliable and adaptable approach.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates advanced abilities and extensive Application Managed Service projects and solutioning the Guidewire Suite of applications on premises and SaaS, with proven success executing and leading all aspects of complex engagements within the Guidewire product suite achieving on-time and on-budget delivery, as well as the following:
- Demonstrates advanced abilities providing solution strategy and Application Evolution Services (AES, formerly AMS) delivery as a Guidewire Lead Developer. Employees in the Lead Developer position should think of themselves and be regarded by the client as a trusted advisor and think strategically about how to create value using the Guidewire Suite of products;
- Demonstrates expert abilities delivering Guidewire application solutions as it will be critical that consultant in this position are capable of navigating both business processes as well as enterprise solution perspectives at high level and holistic view;
- Developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform to meet the specific needs of insurance organizations
- Designing, coding, and testing software solutions for policy administration, claims management, and billing processes
- Analyzing client needs to implement software solutions that optimize operational efficiency
- Providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications
- Collaborating with team members and clients to address varying challenges and project scopes
- Applying a learning mindset to take ownership of personal development and skill enhancement
- Gathering information from diverse sources to analyze facts and discern patterns

What You Must Have
- JDP (Jutro Development Platform), React JavaScript framework, Typescript
- JEST (Testing framework), IDE familiarity for using Guidewire Digital solutions.
- GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework and Guidewire Web Services;
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2-4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Experience using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman and working with code repositories such as SVN & GIT;
- Understanding of devops and build/deployment processes.
- Guidewire Digital Certified Associate
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Risk Management, Software App, Statistics
- At least one of the following: Guidewire and Scrum Master Certification
- Demonstrating proficiency in Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter
- Utilizing software development methodologies in client projects
- Engaging in system development and integration tasks
- Adapting to diverse client needs and project scopes
- Building a personal brand through consistent quality work
