As a Guidewire Senior Developer (Digital Portals) Associate, you will engage in client support, focusing on delivering innovative solutions within our Technology Consulting practice. You will contribute to the development and enhancement of Guidewire applications, leveraging your skills to address complex business challenges and drive client success. As an Associate, you will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, where curiosity and adaptability are key. You will build your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge and understanding the broader objectives of your projects. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality work and support senior staff in client engagements. You will develop your skills and knowledge, participating in project tasks and engaging in research to generate new ideas and solve problems. Responsibilities
- Demonstrates advanced abilities and extensive Application Managed Service projects and solutioning the Guidewire Suite of applications on premises and SaaS, with proven success executing and leading all aspects of complex engagements within the Guidewire product suite achieving on-time and on-budget delivery, as well as the following:
- Demonstrates advanced abilities providing solution strategy and Application Evolution Services (AES, formerly AMS) delivery as a Guidewire Lead Developer. Employees in the Lead Developer position should think of themselves and be regarded by the client as a trusted advisor and think strategically about how to create value using the Guidewire Suite of products;
-Demonstrates expert abilities delivering Guidewire application solutions as it will be critical that consultant in this position are capable of navigating both business processes as well as enterprise solution perspectives at high level and holistic view;
- Developing and configuring Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter applications to meet client requirements
- Integrating Guidewire systems with other software platforms to enhance functionality and streamline processes
- Participating in software development and system development tasks to support application evolution services
- Collaborating with teams to implement software development methodologies and optimize project outcomes
- Utilizing intellectual curiosity to explore innovative solutions and improve Guidewire application performance
- Engaging in active listening and accepting feedback to refine development processes and deliver quality results
- Supporting client engagements by providing technical expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration
- Promoting teamwork and inclusion to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
What You Must Have
- JDP (Jutro Development Platform), React JavaScript framework, Typescript
- JEST (Testing framework), IDE familiarity for using Guidewire Digital solutions.
- GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework and Guidewire Web Services
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2-4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Good Knowledge on XML & JSON formats and ANT, MAVEN, Gradle scripts;
- Experience using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman and working with code repositories such as SVN & GIT;
- Understanding of devops and build/deployment processes.
- Guidewire Digital Certified Associate
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Risk Management, Software App, Statistics
- At least one of the following: Guidewire and Scrum Master Certification
- Demonstrating proficiency in Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter
- Engaging in software development methodologies and system development
- Utilizing intellectual curiosity to drive innovative solutions
- Participating in GuideWire integration projects
- Excelling in teamwork and client support environments
