HR Executive / HR Generalist
About the Role
Karpenko Gymnastics Academy (KGA) is looking for a proactive and hands-on Human Resource Generalist to support our growing operations across multiple gym locations in Singapore.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being involved in the full spectrum of Human Resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll support, work pass administration, HR compliance and staff engagement.
You will work closely with management, operations and coaching teams to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations while supporting the company's growth plans. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining HR compliance, strengthening employee engagement and supporting workforce planning across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination and reference checks.
Conduct interviews and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation.
Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programmes.
Work Pass & MOM Administration
Manage Employment Pass (EP), S Pass and Work Permit applications, renewals, issuance, cancellations and related matters.
Liaise with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), ICA and relevant government agencies regarding employment-related matters.
Monitor work pass expiry dates, quotas and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, Employment Act requirements and company policies.
Manage MyCareersFuture job advertisements and support Fair Consideration Framework (FCF) requirements where applicable.
HR Operations & Administration
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Administer leave, attendance, timesheets and employee data.
Support monthly payroll preparation and verification.
Prepare HR letters, reports and employment-related documentation.
Ensure proper filing and record retention of HR documents.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as a point of contact for employee enquiries and HR-related matters.
Support employee engagement initiatives and staff welfare programmes.
Assist with performance management, disciplinary matters and employee feedback.
Promote a positive, professional and collaborative workplace culture.
Learning & Development
Coordinate internal and external training programmes.
Maintain training records and monitor compliance requirements.
Support employee development and succession planning initiatives.
HR Compliance & Reporting
Support internal audits and HR compliance reviews.
Monitor HR metrics, manpower reports and workforce trends.
Prepare reports for management and assist with manpower planning activities.
Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant HR experience in Singapore.
Good understanding of Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations.
Hands-on experience handling Employment Pass, S Pass and Work Permit matters.
Experience in recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.
Familiarity with MOM EP Online, MyCareersFuture and related government portals.
Experience in payroll administration and leave management will be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
