Human Resources Officer

Serves as a Human Resources Officer full participant of the top management team for the R/S/A working with the Regional Forester/Director and members of the staffs in formulating, promulgating, and effectuating programs of Regional scope and significance for the management of forest resources. Apply a full range of HR expertise to provide advisory services to managers in a significant organizational segment of the agency, such as a region, combined research stations, area offices, or JCCC or other combined functional units.

Advise top-level managers, resolving complex and difficult problems in interrelated Human Resources functional areas.

Provide leadership and monitors the human resources programs and operations to ensure recognition of emerging problems and prompt response to management needs

Provide advisory services to program managers on significant issues, such as establishing criteria, formulating projects, assessing program effectiveness, or researching or analyzing a variety of unusual conditions, problems, or questions.

Analyze interrelated complex issues that affect the accomplishment of overall mission and program goals.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National. Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
