ROLE PURPOSE
As the Ice Cream Indonesia Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security for GTM (Non-Make) operations, ensuring effective risk control, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture across logistics, warehouses, offices, and customer-facing activities.

Scope of Responsibility

Covers all Non-Make operations, including:

  • Warehousing & logistics
  • Transportation & fleet (including safe travel)
  • Offices & sales operations
  • Contract manufacturing & contract logistics
  • R&D and events
  • Security management

Key Accountabilities

1. Risk Management & Control

  • Identify and mitigate high-risk activities in; logistics, MMHE, contractor work, construction, PSM interfaces
  • Ensure effective control of; transport safety, warehouse safety, office risks, and event safety
  • Drive risk-based prevention (e.g., hotspot routing, loss prevention controls)

2. SSHE Governance & Compliance

  • Establish and run GTM SSHE governance via: CSHEC and sub-committees (e.g., Safe Travel, Logistics, R&D)
  • Ensure compliance to Global SSHE standards, local regulations, and internal audits
  • Track and responsible for the KPIs (TRFR, LTAFR, SIF, ENV, PSM) and leading indicators

3. Operational Safety Delivery

  • Embed SSHE into daily GTM operations; delivery, warehousing, distribution, and sales activities
  • Ensure controls are implemented (not just documented) across high-risk work
  • Drive execution discipline in contractor safety, traffic management, environmental controls

4. Safe Travel & Fleet Safety

  • Lead safe travel programs, such as driver behavior, vehicle compliance, road risk management
  • Monitor driving incidents, telematics, and compliance KPIs

5. Security & Loss Prevention

  • Protect company assets through route risk assessments, access control, and incident prevention
  • Deliver measurable impact (e.g., reduction in logistics/security losses)

6. Capability & Culture

  • Build a proactive safety culture: training, awareness, and engagement programs
  • Embed speak-up culture and leadership accountability
  • Integrate SSHE into OKRs and leadership routines

7. Performance Management & Reporting

  • Own GTM SSHE performance reviews: risks, gaps, action plans, and KPI tracking
  • Ensure clear action ownership, timely CAPA closure, and escalation

8. Stakeholder & Interface Management

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, R&D, and Factory SSHE teams
  • Clarify governance:
    • Factory = SSHE governance owner
    • GTM = SSHE execution/manpower support (e.g., BOF model)

Success Measures (Typical)

  • Zero fatalities / serious incidents
  • Reduction in TRFR/LTAFR and GTM-specific risks
  • Safe travel compliance and incident reduction
  • Closure of SSHE gaps and audit findings
  • Measurable reduction in security losses
  • Strong governance cadence and participation

Leadership Expectations

  • Actively engage field (site visits, verification)
  • Drive execution discipline over paperwork
  • Make SSHE visible in business reviews (not only SSHE forums)
