Import Export Analyst 1

If you are an Import and Export Assistant professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role provides the opportunity to support critical cross‑border trade operations that enable business continuity and customer satisfaction. Based in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, you will contribute to compliant, accurate, and efficient import and export activities while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Elaborate import invoices for raw materials and export invoices for finished goods, including virtual operations, returns, scrap, machinery, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Review and validate customs entries (pedimentos) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain tax and trade‑related reports, supporting audits and internal controls.
  • Coordinate shipments with customs brokers, logistics providers, and internal customers to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.
  • Track and report shipment status, maintaining shipment reports and discrepancy logs, and supporting resolution of variances.
  • Collect and organize information for new part numbers, including photographs, cost data, and supporting documentation.
  • Support inventory control and trade compliance processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Hands‑on experience supporting import and export operations, customs documentation, or trade compliance activities.

  • Working knowledge of import/export invoices, customs entries, and inventory control systems.

  • Familiarity with applicable trade regulations such as USMCA principles and the Mexican Customs Law.

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with customs brokers and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with data and reports.

  • Foundational proficiency in office productivity tools and operational systems.


Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience in a maquiladora or manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to IMMEX programs or changes of customs regime.
  • Experience handling a broad range of trade transactions, including returns, virtual operations, and scrap.
  • English language skills that support communication in a global environment.
