Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary
As a Maintenance Engineer at Tetra Pak, you’ll take on more responsibility in maintaining and installing Tetra Pak equipment. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams, gaining valuable experience while helping ensure food safety and operational excellence.
As a part of our Customer Service Operations team, you will be first in the field to maintain food processing equipment at our customers’ facilities. As someone who prides themselves on getting to the root of the problem, you’ll be part of the mission to keep food production going for hundreds of millions of people in more than 160 countries. The position requires extensive travel, up to 90% of the time in Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, and Emilia Romagna.
This is a permanent position based in Monza, Italy.
What you will do
Travel to customer sites to:
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks of moderate complexity at customer site.
- Use Tetra Pak Maintenance System (TPMS) tools to report and document service activities.
- Supporting and performing troubleshooting activities on-site.
- Interpret technical documentation and follow global procedures.
- Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team.
We believe you have
- A high school, vocational school or technical diploma with hands-on technical training
- Up to 1 year of experience in maintenance work with various food processing equipment - find out more about our solutions: Processing equipment | Tetra Pak Global
- Ability to travel up to 90% of the time in Italy
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal) is necessary
- A customer-focused attitude and a drive to improve
- A growth mindset, indicating a willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- A proactive, safety-first approach
Nice to have:
- Electrical competence
- Familiarity with valve models: Bardiani, Aseptomag, SSV
- Familiarity with pump models: Centrifuge Pomps, LKC, Lobi
