Summary of the Role
Responsible for TIS Sales and Marketing, encompassing the following key duties:
Directs the development of company market requirements for specific products or product lines.
Leads and coordinates product planning, product launches, product management, market development, and market research activities.
Works closely with the Business Unit (BU) Manager to identify new marketing opportunities; collaborates independently or with cross-functional teams to recommend actions, plan and schedule projects, estimate costs, and manage projects through completion.
Identifies unmet customer needs and new business opportunities, providing strategic vision and direction to move products from concept to market.
Facilitates and coordinates marketing activities across geographic regions to strengthen teamwork and build partnerships.
Key Functions / Responsibilities
1. Organizational Development Strategy
Plan and prepare for new product launches and existing product marketing strategies.
Ensure company goals and strategic direction are aligned with planned initiatives.
2. Leadership Development & Core Leadership Competencies
Provide marketing coaching to subordinates or mentees and deliver constructive feedback for performance improvement.
Develop and nurture new talent within the team.
3. People and Culture Building
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired results.
Demonstrate accountability and a strong sense of ownership.
Leverage diverse experiences, styles, backgrounds, and perspectives to drive results.
Translate creative ideas into actionable plans and successfully implement them.
Demonstrate consistency between words and actions.
4. Business Partner for Organisation Development Programs
Manage sales, support, and distributor-related activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners while managing expectations in the best interest of the company.
5. Performance Management and Talent Development
Manage and ensure the delivery of agreed-upon results.
Monitor and track personal KPIs, proactively identifying risks and taking corrective actions to mitigate them.
Plan and execute daily sales and marketing activities.
Education & Experience
Requires advanced knowledge of the job area, particularly in Cardiovascular or Vascular fields, typically gained through a combination of advanced education and relevant experience.
May possess practical knowledge of project management.
Academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree in science or non-science.
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in medical sales or marketing within the healthcare industry.
