About the Position: This Medical Technician position is located at the Jacksonville Naval Hospital, Directorate of Clinical Support. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Perform clinical laboratory test procedures in a general laboratory setting.

Conduct necessary quality control and quality assurance procedures.

Perform clinical laboratory tests on specimens as ordered.

Operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in clinical laboratory testing.

Evaluate requested test procedure to determine suitability of specimen and request and/or obtain new specimen if determined to be unusable.
