Network Engineer L3 (Implementation)

Job Summary

You will manage multiple network projects, delivering design and deployment support for corporate data networks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement L3 network changes and develop repeatable processes for automation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple network projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery of design and deployment support
• Prepare Network Design Documents (NDD) following L3 network standards and configuration templates, and submit for review and approval
• Create Build Packages including detailed implementation plans, test plans, and network change documentation
• Oversee deployment of Build Packages on the corporate data network, implementing L3 network changes during designated weekend green zone windows
• Represent the network domain in virtual teams for large or complex projects, communicating effectively with business and technical stream owners
• Develop and implement processes to enable repeatable network designs aimed at provisioning automation and operational efficiencies
• Prepare and submit all required project documentation for audit compliance and project closure

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience (8+ years) working with Cisco and Arista network devices (routers and switches)
• Minimum certification of CCNA and/or CCNP or equivalent
• Strong working knowledge of routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
• Experience with WAN technologies such as Metro Ethernet, MPLS, VPLS, and IPLC

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience using Multicast in Cisco/Arista network environments
• Experience working in large financial or banking network operations or implementation teams
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients using verbal, listening, writing, and presentation skills
