Nurse (Quality Management)

About the Position: This position is located in the Patient Safety/Risk Management Office at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, California. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Conduct reviews and provide analysis of patient related adverse event reports.

Collate, display and perform trend analysis and other statistical computation.

Serve as facilitator and guide patient safety review teams in the identification of the causes of adverse events as well as identify and implement practical, measurable and sustainable corrective actions.

Utilize a combination of patient safety tools and evidence-based practices to improve measures of quality and patient safety.
