Nursing Assistant

About the Position: Positions are located in several areas of a Medical Treatment Facility located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Recruitment or Relocation Incentive maybe authorized. Advance In Hire maybe authorized to those who are new to the federal employment.

Review electronic health record and documents patient information.

Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and records into electronic health record.

Recognize abnormal results and reports to the nurse in charge or medical provider.

Clean wounds, applies bandages after suturing, assists in removal of sutures, staples, and dressings during examination and treatment.

Assist with the admission, discharge, and cleaning of patient unit.

Instruct patients and families on various subjects in accordance with established protocols.
