[PERM] Sales Manager (Rebar & Wire Road)
Responsibilities:
- Maximise trading profits in hot-rolled plate (HRP), long products, and slab sourced mainly from Southeast Asian and Chinese mills through active trading and market development
- Trade HRP with Singapore stockists and traders, managing pricing, positions, and execution to capture margins
- Supply ERSS contractors in Singapore via multiple suppliers, ensuring consistent supply, competitive pricing, and timely delivery
- Trade HRP, long products (bars, beams, structural steel), and slab to customers across Southeast Asia, Australia, India, Middle East, Europe, and North & South America
- Develop and manage customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and execute cross-border transactions
- Monitor global steel markets, mill pricing, freight rates, and demand trends to identify arbitrage opportunities
- Coordinate mills, logistics providers, and customers to ensure efficient trade execution and shipment delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of Hot Rolled Plate, Rebar/Sections, Slabs; ERSS knowledge is a plus
- Strong numerical skills (cost sheets, FX, freight calculations)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel for business when required
