Physician (Hospitalist)

About the Position: This position located at Fort Hood, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Perform highly responsible duties in the advanced examination, diagnosis and treatment of inpatients for the Pediatric Medicine Service.

Examine and conduct thorough studies of patients presented with medical management problems based on the level of professional ability.

Evaluate laboratory and clinical findings; differentiating among the various contributory causes and prescribe appropriate treatment.

Provide administrative and direct supervision of assigned personnel including, but not limited to, students, residents, and advanced practitioners.

Plan, schedule, assign and direct the work of others; establishe work priorities and deadlines; explain work requirements, methods and procedures as needed; and review work upon completion.
