Job Summary

Join HDI Global SE Singapore as a Policy Operations Assistant to support policy administration, client and broker relations, and financial processes within the Local Business Portfolios team.

Responsibilities

Local Business Portfolio Administration:

  • Accurately process and enter premium data into the GERAS Insurance System to ensure up-to-date policy records
  • Issue premium certificates for designated lines of business to support client and broker needs
  • Assist Finance with credit control reconciliation and follow-up to maintain accurate financial records
  • Manage electronic filing systems and archive lapsed files to maintain organized documentation
  • Verify that all files include necessary worksheets and documents for precise data capture
  • Assist with partner code creation for coda processing to support financial operations
  • Send timely reminders to brokers and clients regarding outstanding premium payments to facilitate collections
  • Maintain updated and complete records in the Operations Tracking Report for effective monitoring
  • Support the finance department by providing documentation and records upon request

Other Responsibilities:

  • Promote HDI Global SE Singapore positively to enhance company reputation
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key intermediaries and customers to support business growth
  • Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and industry events as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the General Insurance industry, specifically in policy operations or processing roles
  • Proficiency in insurance administration systems; experience with GERAS Insurance System preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
  • High motivation and ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Appropriate formal qualifications related to insurance or business administration
