Business Manager
Responsibilities
- Ensure the consolidation of the financial aspects of the version contents and manage related alerts with the EDMs or PMs
- Assist in the vision and roadmap consolidation with the EDM and ensure workload and teams/squads inter- dependencies are well identified
- Ensure coherence between the teams, managed through work packages, and squads with planned backlog and workload, velocity, capacity
- Ensure capitalisation process is deployed and analyse results both to manage EAC or engage new quoting process for business support
- Manage workload associated plans or alerts (reinforcement or rearrangement of the squads) with the HoD and the EDMs
- Support the roadmap and vision by ensuring consistency with the workload of the teams and squads
- Deploy a robust process to support Financial EAC projection
- Analyse the current situation, propose a transition plan with short/mid/long term objectives
- Define metrics and routines to follow and monitor the progress of the financial activities
- Support the teams to reinforce our way of working
- Adjust our approach depending on the type of subcontract (full delegation, center of services, …).
- Anticipate issue and mitigation with EDMs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Qualifications
- Relevant Degree from recognised institution or relevant work experience (10+ years)
Experience
- A track record of delivering successful software complex projects in contexts relevant to Thales
- Full engineering lifecycle management, including software engineering, specification engineering, qualification and deployment.
- Very good understanding and strong experience of Cost/financial management
- Experience on complex program with numerous stakeholders
- Comprehensive understanding of generic processes and techniques used to schedule project activities (for example; WBS, OBS, milestones, cost models, dependencies, EVM, workload).
- Working in a complex, multidisciplinary, multi-site and multi-country organisation
Knowledge and skills
- Good engineering knowledge including process, methods, tooling and environments
- Deep knowledge of traditional WP breakdown and Agile@Scale approach
- The ability to directly manage subcontractors in a complex program, ensuring best interest of the Company is always upheld
